Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse located in Chennai. The Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse will provide specialized care to critically ill newborns, including monitoring vital signs, administering necessary treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals. The role also involves advocating for the well-being of neonatal patients, educating families about care plans, and maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment to promote recovery and growth.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge and experience in Neonatal Intensive Care and Critical Care Medicine
- Proficiency in Nursing practices and Critical Care Nursing, including patient assessment and care planning
- Familiarity with medical procedures and treatment protocols in neonatal and pediatric medicine
- Strong communication skills to provide patient and family education effectively
- Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments and make quick, informed decisions
- RN (Registered Nurse) certification and a degree in Nursing with specialization in neonatology or critical care preferred
- Prior experience working in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is highly desirable
- Commitment to delivering empathetic, patient-centered care
