As a Backend Developer, you will own the development and scaling of our backend platforms and micro-services. You will collaborate closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and architects to deliver robust, high-performing, and delightful experiences to our users. This role requires deep ownership, strong technical judgment, and a passion for building world-class consumer-facing server systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in backend/system development.
Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring JPA.
Solid understanding of micro-service architecture and its design patterns.
Understanding of containterization and orchestration tools like Docker, AWS ECS etc.
Deep experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL RDBMS design, performance tuning, SQL).
Practical experience with Redis for caching and data structure handling.
Expertise in designing and integrating RESTful APIs in scalable systems.
Solid understanding of version control Git and code quality practices.
Familiarity with AWS ( EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, etc.).
Experience with asynchronous/event-driven architectures Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS.
Good debugging skills and a disciplined approach to testing and system monitoring.
Must have an AI first approach. If you are not using Claude Code (or something similar) day-in and day-out, this is not the job for you.
