As an Engineering Manager, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing our engineering department to ensure the successful delivery of

Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage the engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and productivity.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managementand design, to define and prioritize product requirements and projecttimelines.
● Oversee the development and implementation of software projects,ensuring adherence to best practices, coding standards, and qualityassurance processes.
● Utilize your expertise in release management to ensure smooth and timelysoftware deployments, coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners as necessary.
● Drive the adoption of agile methodologies, continuous integration, andcontinuous delivery practices to optimize the software developmentlifecycle.
● Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies,identifying opportunities to leverage new tools or frameworks to enhance our tech stack.
● Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team.
● Participate in the recruitment and onboarding process of new engineering team members, ensuring the right talent is hired and integrated effectively.
● Monitor and manage resource allocation, and project timelines to ensure successful project delivery within schedule constraints.
Technical Skills and Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven work experience as an Engineering Manager, with a minimum of 7-12 years in software development.
Strong hands-on experience with our tech stack, including Java Spring Boot, Redis Cache, Postgres DB, microservice architecture, and Kubernetes.
Demonstrated experience in release management, ensuring successful software deployments and coordinating with stakeholders.
Previous experience in a startup environment is highly desirable, with a track record of driving innovation and managing projects from conception to completion.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.
Experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration, and continuous delivery practices.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and deployment models, such as AWS is a plus.
