About the Role
We’re building a new kind of observability platform — and assembling a world-class founding engineering team in Bangalore. We're looking for a VP of Engineering who’s deeply technical, hands-on, and excited to help architect both the product and engineering culture from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to shape a category-defining company at its earliest stage.

What You’ll Do

1. Architect high-performance distributed systems, tracing infrastructure, and streaming data pipelines
2. Write production-grade code in GoLang and/or Rust — this is a hands-on role
3. Partner directly with Shailedra to define the engineering and product vision
4. Lead and grow a high-caliber engineering team in Bangalore
5. Establish engineering best practices, set a strong technical bar, and build a culture of innovation and ownership

What We’re Looking For

1. 7+ years of experience in backend/system-level engineering, including 2+ years in leadership roles
2. Deep expertise in building distributed systems, low-latency services, or data-intensive backends
3. Strong coding skills in GoLang, Rust, or similar systems-level languages
4. Proven ability to lead from the front — you enjoy coding, mentoring, and solving hard technical problems
5. A founder's mindset — bias for action, comfort with ambiguity, and a drive to build things that last

Nice to Have

1. Experience in observability, tracing, or performance monitoring tools
2. Familiarity with early-stage startups or founding teams
3. Background in high-scale cloud infrastructure, telemetry systems, or open-source contributions
