Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Mumbai for an NDT & QA/QC Trainer. The trainer will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical training in nondestructive testing methods and quality assurance/quality control processes. Key tasks include preparing training materials, conducting sessions, evaluating trainees, supporting industry-specific NDT certification examinations, and ensuring compliance with the latest industry standards and practices. Additionally, the trainer will contribute to research and development in non-destructive testing techniques and maintain awareness of advancements in the field.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in NDT techniques such as Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Radiographic Testing (RT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), and Eddy Current Testing (ECT).
- Knowledge of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) methodologies, standards, and best practices within industrial settings.
- Experience in preparing and delivering training materials, conducting both theoretical and practical sessions, and assessing trainee performance.
- Strong understanding of international NDT certification standards (e.g., ASNT, ISO, or equivalent), with the ability to guide trainees during certification processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with effective presentation and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related technical field. Additional certifications in NDT are highly desirable.
- Prior industry experience in nondestructive testing and inspection is an advantage.
- Ability to stay current with advancements and research in NDT technologies and techniques.
