Member Services Entrance Assistant

Wellness and Recreation is seeking enthusiastic students to provide customer service to users and control access for the Wellness and Recreation Center. Wellness and Recreation commits to foster a learning environment for our student employees that cultivates the skills of ethical reasoning, critical thinking, teamwork, initiative and professionalism. Programs and facilities are student-run with professional coaching. The goal is to help develop students' transferable skills and create a supportive and challenging environment for them to succeed in and out of the classroom. Responsibilities Monitor access to the Wellness and Recreation Center at three entrance locations to ensure only valid users and their guests are admitted Welcome and greet users and provide information regarding facilities, programs, services and the local area Have knowledge of membership options Utilize InnoSoft Fusion for entrance access and control Educate users on downloading the Wellness and Recreation App and using the MyWellRec portal Maintain a clean entrance and facility Welcome and greet users at the Wellness and Recreation administrative suite – providing information, assisting users to specific locations and directing them to the appropriate person
