Job Description

Navtech is looking for a Sr. Linux Devops Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, implementing, and managing robust DevOps solutions that enable the continuous delivery and high availability of our applications and services.

Working as a Sr. Linux DevOps Engineer at Navtech, you will :

• Manage, monitor, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure (on cloud).
• Automate system provisioning, configuration, and deployment using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other industry-standard tools.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of services.
• Proactively monitor infrastructure and applications with tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, or ELK stack.
• Manage version control systems (Git) and branching strategies.
• Implement robust security practices and conduct regular patching and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and IT to streamline release processes and resolve system issues.
  
  

Who Are We Looking for Exactly?

• 36 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong Linux/Unix systems background.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and one or more programming languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
• Experience with configuration management and automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and managing services like EC2, S3, RDS, etc.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with system performance tuning.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release management.
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows.
• You consistently demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• You should have a masters degree /Bachelors (BS) in computer science, Software Engineering, IT, Technology Management or related degrees and throughout education in English medium.

• You have experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• You have familiarity optimizing CICD and containerization tools.
