Navatech is seeking a passionate Lead Backend Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems that support our products and services. This is a fully remote position, with a potential office in Bangalore. Key Responsibilities:

1. Backend Architecture: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and robust backend systems and APIs.
2. Team Leadership: Mentor and guide the backend engineering team, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality code.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with frontend engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
4. System Performance: Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and security, ensuring reliability in production environments.
5. Innovation: Keep up with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends to continuously improve backend infrastructure and processes.
6. Code Quality: Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to maintain high levels of code quality.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Backend Engineer with expertise in building and scaling backend systems.
2. Proficiency in backend technologies such as Python, Node.js, Java, or Go.
3. Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP).
4. Strong understanding of API development and microservices architecture.
5. Leadership experience in mentoring engineers and managing backend teams is highly desirable.
6. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD, monitoring, and logging.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.
