Duties
You will serve as a liaison and program management point-of-contact for material quality assurance and/or vendor past performance programs.,You will monitor all phases of the application or logistics management system to address actual or potential problem areas, identify and correct deficiencies, and take necessary corrective action.,You will be responsible for participating in the development, authoring, interpretation, and promulgation of technical and operational policies and procedures associated with material quality assessment and/or vendor past performance.,You will Initiate, plan, direct, conduct or participate in special studies that are analytical, comprehensive, and broad in scope.,You will apply advanced knowledge of program management techniques, including short- and long-term strategic planning, resource management, program execution, benefit/cost analysis, contract management, and process improvement.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing the acquisition of materials or logistics support requirements to ensure goals and objectives for a program are met. Examples may include: providing analysis to identify trends in the receipt of deficient and/or discrepant materials and services, and supplier quality information; assessing performance of contractors supplying materials and services to the Federal Government; or managing automated tools to collect, compile, and provide material quality assurance and/or supplier performance data for use by the Acquisition, Maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering communities.
