Duties

You will provide leadership of the ILS or Logistics Element Management functions and programs planning, executing, preparing, reviewing, coordinating or evaluating logistical actions in support of new systems acquisition or sustainment programs,You will prepare milestones, test plans, procedures, system analysis and data of the new systems and associated systems.,You will lead personnel with a variety of logistics expertise in developing and implementing programmatic requirements from acquisitions through phase out.,You will lead overall project schedules maintain direct and professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders.,You will investigate and resolve Integrated Product Support (IPS) and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program, system and fleet issues.,You will provide recommendations for successful resolution through shore site testing/simulation and appropriate shipboard/site verifications.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing leadership and expertise in Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to resolve complex programmatic, financial, technical, and logistics problems affecting the installation and modernization of shipboard systems and equipment. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Additional vacancies may be filled by this announcement.
