Duties

You will assist the Comptroller in the distribution, monitoring and control of fiscal resources for NSWG-2. Conducts program planning and budget analysis through the development of forecasting pattern, resolution of reprogramming actions.,You will execute budget operations that consist of multiple fund sources, numerous appropriations, reimbursements, and contracts.,You will interpret financial program guidelines and directives from higher authority, determines their relationship to current operations, and issues guidance to and advises project managers in the preparation of command budget submissions.,You will provide overall staff direction and guidance in the development and submission of the commands operating budgets to the DoN and other applicable agencies and the distribution of funding to subordinate and other activities executing NSWG-2.,You will ensure the establishment and maintenance of financial management policies and procedures to preclude statutory and regulatory violations.,You will provide sound judgment and ethically uncompromising recommendations for all resource management issues.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Budgeting, executing, and overseeing multi source funds; providing financial policy guidance; ensuring internal controls; advising leadership on resource decisions; and supervising financial operations. This position is eligible for ad-hoc/situational telework at the discretion of management. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
