Duties
You will maintain extensive knowledge on issues concerning ONI’s Production and Dissemination websites, software platforms, and web applications and their capabilities and limitations across multiple networks.,You will serve on technical inter-agency and intra-agency working groups in support of the Enterprise Production and Dissemination software platform.,You will perform updates, modifications, and reassessments of software applications to correct deficiencies and improve performance.,You will collaborate with ONI customers, analysts, functional and technical subject matter experts, and line management across the agency to identify, document, analyze, trace, prioritize, and implement technical Enterprise production requirements.,You will provide direct and detailed Production and Dissemination support to analytic and production personnel across the agency, recording comprehensive findings by way of customer service reports.,You will create, maintain, and manage training programs, technical guidance, standard operating procedures, and job aids for Enterprise Production and Dissemination software familiarity.
Qualifications
Must have one year of IT related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. In addition to experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GG/GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties such as: 1. Provide technical, production and dissemination (P&D) software platform policy, management and services, customer outreach and solutions, and program oversight. 2. Perform updates, modifications, and reassessments of software applications to correct deficiencies and improve performance; to include the sustainment of current operational capabilities, problem diagnosis/resolution as well as the design, development, testing, and deployment of enhancements and/or new capabilities. 3. Provide daily oversight and management of assigned contract resources responsible for software application maintenance. 4. Provide direct and detailed production and dissemination (P&D) support to analytic and production personnel.
