Duties

You will utilize working knowledge of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP) or a similar ERP program tool to input and extract financial data for budget planning, formulation, and execution.,You will develop spending plans, budgetary requirements and execute funds in accordance with all fiscal laws and regulations.,You will apply financial laws and regulations to provide advice on the sources and uses of funds.,You will analyze and interpret financial data to develop recommendations for correcting gaps and conflicts.,You will prepare comprehensive reports to ensure projects are expending funding properly.,You will review reports, documentation, records, and data to monitor and control obligations and expenditures.,You will assist in evaluating changes in plans and proposing new courses of action to mitigate deviations from the plan.,You will Communicate, orally and in writing, to assist in resolving team conflict in a positive manner, while maintaining or increasing team morale.

Qualifications

GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Making financial decisions based on financial analysis, research, forecasting, and planning; 2) Working with accounting systems, and or developing, determining, and interpreting budget policies and procedures; 3) Ensuring funds are being executed properly through all stages of encumbrance; and 4) Collaborating with internal departments and outside agencies to achieve financial goals. GS-11 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-09) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing financial analysis, research, and forecasting to produce financial information; 2) Reviewing budgets for accordance with appropriation laws and financial regulations; and 3) Assisting in evaluating funds are being executed properly through all stages of encumbrance.
