About the role

As a Customer Service Advisor - Mortgages, you'll work as part of our Mortgage Operations team, which is responsible for handling all inbound mortgage enquiries from our customers. This includes providing information, guidance and advice on mortgage products and services, dealing with queries, and conducting general customer service activities. Responsibilities: - Handling inbound customer calls, emails and online enquiries relating to mortgage products and services - Providing information, guidance and advice to customers on mortgage products, interest rates, criteria, and the mortgage application process - Dealing with general customer service enquiries and complaints - Signposting customers to other appropriate teams or services as required - Ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained at all times - Adherence to all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements Requirements: - Experience within a customer service or contact centre environment, ideally within financial services - Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to remain calm under pressure and work to set targets and deadlines - Good working knowledge of mortgage products, criteria and the application process - Willingness to undertake training and develop new skills
