Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Jaipur for a Naturalist. The Naturalist will lead guided nature walks, deliver informative presentations about local flora and fauna, and share insights into biodiversity and conservation practices. The role involves documenting wildlife activity, supporting environmental education programs, and coordinating sustainable tourism activities. Collaboration with researchers and community members to promote conservation efforts is also a vital part of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of flora, fauna, and biodiversity, with a passion for environmental conservation
- Ability to conduct research and document wildlife behavior and ecological trends
- Proficient in public speaking, engaging storytelling, and delivering educational content to diverse audiences
- Experience in outdoor navigation, use of field equipment, and wilderness safety practices
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
- Excellent writing, reporting, and communication skills
- Educational background in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, or related fields is preferred
- Previous experience in eco-tourism, wildlife guiding, or conservation projects is advantageous
