š Weāre Hiring: Founding Native iOS Developer at Huki Lab
At Huki Lab, weāre building an app that will help creators shoot and edit better contentāfaster, smarter, and directly from their phones.
The camera is not just another feature in our product; it is at the core of the entire experience.
Weāre looking for a strong Native iOS Developer who can help us build, scale, and own the iOS application from the ground up.
This is not a role where youāll only receive finished Figma screens and convert them into UI.
Youāll work closely with the founding team, contribute to product decisions, solve real camera and performance challenges, and help shape the technical foundation of the product.
š± What youāll work on
ā¢ Building a production-grade native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI
ā¢ Developing camera and media features using AVFoundation
ā¢ Working with photo and video capture, camera controls, and media processing
ā¢ Building tools that help creators shoot, enhance, and edit better content
ā¢ Integrating AI-powered features through APIs and on-device frameworks
ā¢ Implementing Vision and Core ML-based features
ā¢ Optimising app performance, memory usage, battery consumption, and stability
ā¢ Building smooth onboarding, subscriptions, gallery, editing, export, and sharing experiences
ā¢ Shipping and maintaining the application through TestFlight and the App Store
š§ What weāre looking for
ā¢ Strong hands-on experience with Swift, SwiftUI, and native iOS development
ā¢ Practical experience with AVFoundation
ā¢ Good understanding of iOS architecture, concurrency, and memory management
ā¢ Experience integrating REST APIs, authentication, storage, and analytics
ā¢ Ability to independently own features from idea to production
ā¢ Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
ā¢ A builder mindset suited to an early-stage startup
ā Good to have
ā¢ Experience with Core ML, Vision, Core Image, or Metal
ā¢ Experience building camera, photo-editing, or video-editing applications
ā¢ Knowledge of Android development using Kotlin
ā¢ Experience with real-time image or video processing
ā¢ Experience shipping and maintaining live applications on the App Store
