The National Training Manager will architect and operationalize a scalable, performance-driven training capability system that ensures every customer interaction—whether in a high-footfall modern trade store or an immersive brand-owned experience zone—delivers consistent, empathetic, and conversion-focused brand experiences.


This is not just a training role—it’s a process design and behavioral change leadership role. The candidate must be able to build frameworks from scratch, institutionalize them across teams and partners, and sustain excellence through measurable systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Deploy Scalable Training Frameworks
  • Create end-to-end capability frameworks covering: - Empathy-led selling methodology
  • Product mastery & competitive differentiation
  • Institutionalize these into repeatable processes: Training, certification, refresher cycles, and launch readiness protocols for new categories.
  • Ensure all frameworks are modular, localized (language/culture), and channel-adaptive—without compromising brand consistency.
  • Build Operational Processes for Field Execution
  • Develop clear playbooks, SOPs, and digital toolkits that Sales, marketing teams can execute with minimal supervision.
  • Implement a certification & recertification process with defined criteria, assessment matrix, and digital badges.
  • Establish a feedback-to-improvement loop: field insights → content updates → retraining → performance tracking.
  • Integrate training milestones into retail partner calendars (e.g., pre-festival ramp-ups, new store openings).
  • Channel-Specific Enablement
  • Modern Trade:- Deploy rapid upskilling processes for channel sales staff managing multiple brands.
  • Embed Shark Ninja content into partner L&D ecosystems via co-branded modules and upgrade-linked learning paths.
  • Owner & Experience Stores:- Standardize the “Shark Ninja Experience” through a branded service blueprint—covering greeting, demo, handling objections, closing, and post-sale care.
  • Train and certify in-house ambassadors as product experts and brand storytellers.
  • Lead Complex Stakeholder Ecosystems
  • Orchestrate alignment across: - National & regional teams of large-format retailers
  • Staffing agencies managing promoters
  • Internal functions: Sales, Marketing, Product, People & Culture, and Customer Experience
  • Facilitate cross-functional governance forums to align on priorities, resolve bottlenecks, and track joint KPIs.
  • Influence without authority—using data, relationship capital, and structured communication modules.
  • Measure, Optimize & Scale
  • Define and own a performance dashboard tracking: - Process adherence (e.g., % stores certified, demo compliance)
  • Behavioral change (e.g., use of empathy cues in mystery audits)
  • Business impact (sell-out lift, conversion rate, NPS)
  • Conduct monthly field validations to stress-test frameworks and refine processes.
  • Scale successful pilots (e.g., a new demo script in Mumbai/ Delhi) to national rollout within 4–6 weeks.



Qualifications & Experience

  • 7–10 years in frontline capability building, sales excellence, or retail enablement within premium consumer durables, home appliances, or tech-led lifestyle brands in India.
  • Proven ability to design and deploy enterprise-grade frameworks and operational processes—not just deliver ad-hoc training sessions.
  • Deep experience managing large, multi-layered stakeholder groups across modern trade and brand-owned retail formats.
  • Strong grasp of Indian retail operations including festival cycles, and regional nuances.
  • Skilled in blending human-centric skills (empathy, storytelling) with operational discipline (SOPs, metrics, systems).
  • Tech-comfortable: experienced with LMS, mobile learning, and performance analytics tools.
  • Excellent communicator who can simplify complexity for diverse audiences—from mall kiosk staff to retail CXOs.
