About the role
National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) is a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. NTPC is India's largest energy conglomerate with a total installed capacity of 70,064 MW (including JVs & Subsidiaries) comprising of 92 Power Stations (23 Coal, 7 Combined Cycle Gas/Liquid Fuel, 1 Hydro, 19 Renewable projects) in 27 States and Union Territories of India. NTPC has been a pioneer and a key player in the power generation sector in India.
NTPC invites applications from dynamic and experienced Engineering Professionals for the following posts:
1. Executive Trainee (Civil) - 87 posts
2. Executive Trainee (Electrical) - 61 posts
3. Executive Trainee (Mechanical) - 41 posts
4. Executive Trainee (Control & Instrumentation) - 11 posts
The appointment will be initially on contract basis for a period of one year which may be further extended based on the requirement and performance. The salary shall be Rs. 40,000/- per month (all inclusive).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Qualification: Full Time B.E./B.Tech in relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
- Age Limit: 27 years as on 30.06.2023.
- Minimum Post Qualification Relevant Experience: 2 years.
