About the role
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) is India's leading stock exchange and the world's largest derivatives exchange by trading volume. The Research, Analytics and Thought-leadership team at NSE is responsible for developing valuable research and insights that drive strategic decision making and enhance the overall capital markets ecosystem. We are seeking an Analyst to contribute to this critical function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth market research and data analysis to develop thought-provoking insights and recommendations for the capital markets industry
- Utilize statistical and quantitative techniques to analyze complex data sets and uncover meaningful patterns and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and create high-impact research reports, white papers, and other knowledge products
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and global best practices to inform the team's research agenda
- Effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of research methodologies and data management processes
Requirements:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of financial markets and concepts
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and visualization using tools like Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present research insights
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
- MBA or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
