We are seeking a National Sales Manager for one of our prestigious clients based in Bangalore. Our client is on a high growth trajectory, and the incumbent to this position will lead the sales team across India for their stainless-steel processing business.
Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role involving travel. The Head of Sales will be responsible for designing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading sales teams to achieve revenue and growth targets. The role involves building strong client relationships, analyzing market trends, identifying new opportunities, and collaborating with other departments to align sales efforts with organizational goals.
Key Requirements:
• Set up a pan-India Sales and Marketing structure and systems
• Own the Sales and Marketing cycle from prospecting to sales including payment receivables
• Generate segment wise leads and connect with key decision makers
• Lead a team of internal and field executives and constantly upgrade their skills.
• Achieve periodic sales targets and provide MIS reports
• Review and approve sales quotations, negotiate with clients for closing sales
• Advertising, marketing, business development, complete CRM and customer complaints
• Market intelligence including competitor activities
• Creation of database of customer profiles
• Understand customer needs and promote usage of stainless steel for new applications
• Plan sales promotion activities like participation in exhibitions and industry related events
• Coordinate with relevant agencies for creation of advertising material and videos.
• Understand product range and process knowledge to offer relevant solutions to clients.
• Deliver corporate presentations to clients and industry associations.
Qualification:
BE / B.Tech - Mechanical / Metallurgy / Chemical. Preference may be given to candidates with an MBA in Marketing, Business Development
Good communication in English and one or two local languages.
Experience:
Minimum 10 years, with leadership experience in metals, manufacturing or engineering industries.
Compensation: The attractive compensation package comprises a fixed component and a variable sales commission, commensurate or better than market standards for the right candidate.
Location: Bangalore - candidates must be willing to relocate to Bangalore, if not already based there, by April.
