Job Description: National Sales Head (Travel Industry)

Role Overview
We are looking for a result-driven and strategic sales leader to head our national sales function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building a high-performing sales team across multiple locations.
This role offers high ownership, leadership visibility, and growth potential within a fast-growing travel organisation.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute national sales strategy aligned with business goals
- Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Identify new business opportunities across B2B, B2C, Corporate, School Tours & Group Travel
🔹 Team Leadership & Expansion
- Lead, mentor, and scale a multi-location sales team
- Set clear KPIs, monitor performance, and drive accountability
- Hire, train, and retain top sales talent
🔹 Business Development
- Build and manage key partnerships, alliances, and corporate clients
- Expand presence in new markets and geographies
- Strengthen distribution channels and agent networks
🔹 Performance Management & Analytics
- Track sales funnel, conversions, and pipeline health
- Implement data-driven decision-making for revenue optimization
- Present regular MIS and performance reports to leadership
🔹 Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams
- Align campaigns and product offerings with market demand
Key Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in Sales Leadership (Travel/Tourism preferred)
- Proven track record of handling ₹20–50 Cr+ annual revenue targets
- Experience managing large/multi-city sales teams
- Strong network within travel agents, corporates, or institutional clients
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
