Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Rajkot, for a National Sales Head at Captain Tractors Pvt. Ltd. The National Sales Head will oversee the company’s sales operations across the country, develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage key sales channels, and identify new business opportunities. Additional responsibilities include leading and mentoring sales teams, driving innovative sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Heading & Managing entire Sales & Marketing team of Domestic Market (Sales, Service, Marketing, Retail Finance & Dealer Development)
- Drive national sales strategy for Tractors, Farm Implements, Spares & Oils business.
- Achieve Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets for Volume, Revenue, EBITDA, Market Share & Collection.
- Ensure sustainable growth in domestic markets.
- Drive retail and wholesale sales growth across all regions.
- Ensure model-wise sales planning and optimum Model Mix Contribution.
- Increase genuine spare parts penetration across dealer network.
- Drive lubricant/oil business growth through channel activation.
- Expand and strengthen dealer network across India.
- Ensure New Dealer Network establishment as per business plan.
- Lead Dealer Infra Upgradation initiatives as per company standards.
- Ensure Salesman Appointment and manpower availability across dealer network.
- Ensure Break-Even / Profitability of each State & Region.
- Improve inventory turnover and demand forecasting.
- Lead product launches, exhibitions, farmer connect programs & retail campaigns.
- Analyze market trends, competitor movements, and customer expectations.
Qualifications
- MBA / PGDM in Marketing / Sales preferred.
- Engineering background preferred.
- 18-25 years of experience in Tractor / Farm Equipment / Automobile Industry. (2 wheeler/3 Wheeler/Commercial Vehicle/Tyre/Agriculture)
- Proven experience in Pan-India Sales & Dealer Network Management.
- Expertise in dealer development, profitability management, and channel operations.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and business development capabilities.
