Job Title: National Sales Director

About the Role
MM Mithaiwala is looking for a strategic and growth-oriented National Sales Director to lead and scale sales across India. This role will drive national expansion across B2C, B2B, and B2D channels, build high-performing teams, and establish strong distribution and corporate networks.
Key Responsibilities1. National Sales Strategy & Expansion
- Develop and execute a pan-India sales strategy aligned with business goals
- Drive revenue growth across retail, distribution, and institutional channels
- Identify new markets, cities, and expansion opportunities
2. Channel Development (B2C, B2B, B2D)
- Scale retail presence (stores, online, aggregators)
- Build and expand distribution networks (distributors, dealers, partners)
- Lead corporate gifting, bulk sales, and institutional partnerships
3. Distribution & Network Building
- Establish and manage a strong nationwide distributor ecosystem
- Optimize supply chain coordination for efficient product movement
- Drive market penetration and visibility across regions
4. Revenue Ownership & Performance
- Own national sales targets, P&L, and profitability
- Monitor KPIs across regions and implement corrective actions
- Forecast demand and align with production and inventory
5. Team Leadership & Structure Building
- Build, lead, and mentor regional and zonal sales teams
- Set targets, performance metrics, and accountability systems
- Create a strong sales culture focused on results and growth
6. Key Accounts & Partnerships
- Manage relationships with large corporate clients, modern trade, and institutional buyers
- Negotiate high-value deals and long-term contracts
- Expand presence in premium and high-volume channels
7. Brand & Market Positioning
- Work closely with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals
- Strengthen brand presence across markets and channels
- Identify consumer trends and competitive insights
8. Systems, Processes & Reporting
- Implement structured sales processes, SOPs, and reporting systems
- Leverage CRM/HRMS tools for tracking and efficiency
- Provide regular business insights and reports to leadership
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in national sales leadership roles
- Strong background in FMCG / F&B / retail distribution
- Experience in building and scaling multi-city / pan-India sales networks
- Deep understanding of B2B, B2C, and B2D sales models
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills
- Data-driven with a strong execution mindset
