Business Analyst - National Pharmacies are looking for an experienced and passionate Business Analyst to join our Team in this unique 12 Month, Fixed Term opportunity! About The Role Reporting to the IT Service & Application Delivery Manager, this role will enable you to fully utilise your current skills, and you will be given the chance to enhance and broaden your capability and learn more about the functioning of a retail business. The position operates within the IT Department and is conveniently located in the Adelaide CBD. The role is focused on carrying out a full range of business analysis and coordination related activities for the IT program, including: Work closely with stakeholders to validate business requirements Develop specifications, fit for purpose to the audience of business users, technical developers, solution architects and vendors Business process and data modelling Plan and facilitate varied project activities and be directly involved in coordinating testing and implementing solutions and systems alongside our technical developers Develop supporting assets such as user interfaces, reporting mockups, branding and design principles. Coordination of the required solution changes including workflow, reports and Interfaces. Identification and documentation of required business and system changes Be directly involved in building, testing and implementing phases of the systems development life cycle In addition, you will collaborate on the design and implementation of appropriate solutions and will assess and validate them against requirements and may also undertake other specific analysis and research tasks when required. What we are looking for... 2 years proven experience as a Business Analyst providing requirements management, business process analysis/modelling and information analysis/modelling Experience in the delivery of software implementation projects with significant business and systems change including integration; working across the entire System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from initial analysis through to implementation/release Demonstrated high level of analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to think laterally and conceptually Proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, verbally, in writing and by means of presentations Demonstrated ability to organise workloads effectively in a climate of competing priorities to achieve agreed outcomes and to also work under broad direction and/or in a team environment on complex tasks Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of general I.T. infrastructure, including, PC and server hardware, operating systems, LAN and WAN components and business applications and their relationship with each other Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of core business functions (not necessarily computerised), including inventory management, financial, Point of Sale Tertiary or studying towards a qualification in IT, IS or a related field is desirable. Experience working in a retail environment is desirable
