Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role based in Chennai for a National Operations Manager – Employee Transportation. The individual will oversee and coordinate employee commute plans to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Responsibilities include stakeholder management, strategic oversight of transportation operations, vendor management, and implementing innovative transportation solutions such as electric vehicles. The manager will also analyze data to optimize processes and build sustainable and scalable transportation models tailored to client needs.
Qualifications
- Operations Management: Expertise in overseeing and managing employee transportation or logistics systems to ensure optimal efficiency and cost savings.
- Data Analysis and Process Optimization: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for improving operational workflows and transportation models.
- Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Ability to coordinate with fleet operators, manpower providers, and technology vendors effectively.
- Strategic Thought Leadership: Experience in developing scalable mobility strategies and implementing innovative solutions like electric vehicle integration.
- Leadership and Communication: Proven leadership capabilities to manage diverse teams and excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Relevant Industry Experience: Prior experience in IT, BPO, or banking industries is advantageous, as is a background in corporate real estate or facility management.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Operations, Logistics, or a related field; advanced certifications or degrees are a plus.
