Role Summary
A seasoned sales leader with strong expertise in medical imaging equipment sales, channel management, key account handling, and strategic business development within the healthcare industry.
The ideal candidate should possess deep market understanding across radiology and imaging modalities, experience in managing large teams and dealer networks, and a proven ability to drive multimodality business growth across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Leadership
- Drive national sales growth for the Imaging portfolio including X-Ray, DR Systems, Mobile DR, C-Arms, Ultrasound, and related imaging solutions.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with organizational growth objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities across corporate hospitals, diagnostic chains, government institutions, and channel networks.
- Identify product gaps and improvement opportunities, monitor product performance, and collaborate with development and cross-functional teams to drive continuous product enhancement.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Own and achieve national sales targets, profitability, and market expansion goals.
- Build strong sales pipelines and monitor conversion across regions.
- Lead large-value multimodality and capital equipment deals.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop regional sales teams across territories.
- Drive performance management, sales reviews, forecasting, and capability building.
- Collaborate closely with application, service, marketing, and product teams.
Channel & Key Account Management
- Strengthen dealer and distributor partnerships across regions.
- Manage strategic relationships with key hospital groups, diagnostic chains, government bodies, and KOLs.
- Support high-impact negotiations and project closures.
Market Development
- Analyze competition, market trends, pricing, and customer requirements.
- Develop strategies for brand positioning and market penetration.
- Represent the organization at conferences, CMEs, exhibitions, and industry events.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure smooth coordination between sales, service, logistics, and operations teams.
- Monitor order execution, collections, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive process discipline and sales governance across teams.
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or related field. MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in Medical Devices/Healthcare Sales with significant exposure to Imaging modalities.
- Proven track record in handling national or large regional business operations.
- Strong experience in:
- Imaging equipment sales
- Dealer/channel management
- Capital equipment business
- Key account management
- Government and institutional sales
- Team leadership
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage large, cross-functional teams and complex business environments.
