Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB-DST funded project at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The essential qualifications and other details are as follows: Title of the Project: "Modeling and simulation of transport processes in complex fuel cell systems" Job Description: - To carry out research activities associated with the above mentioned project - To assist in the preparation of project reports and other deliverables - To present the research findings at conferences/workshops Essential Qualifications: - M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent - Valid GATE/NET score - Relevant research experience will be preferred Age Limit: 28 years as on the last date of application Duration of the Fellowship: Initial appointment is for 1 year and may be extended for 2 more years subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds. Fellowship Amount: Rs. 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per the institute norms.
