Job Description
Roles & ResponsibilitiesI. KPI Reporting & Analytics
- Define and own the national B2B KPI framework
- Oversee centralized performance dashboards
- Ensure all reviews are data-driven
- UseCRM andanalytics tools to:
- Identify gaps
- Highlight opportunities
- Strengthen performance-review culture
II. Sales-BD Approval Planning
- Establish aSales-BDprioritization framework
- Focus on high-potential accounts and opportunities
- Facilitate monthlySales-BD review meetings
- Track progress on approved opportunities
- Ensure accountability between teams
III. Funnel Management (CRM Governance)
- Lead nationalCRM governance
- Adoption benchmarks
- Data hygiene
- Data-quality standards
- Own the entire funnel:
- Lead generation → Order closure
- Ensure:
- Adequate funnel coverage vs monthly targets
- Weekly funnel reviews with Zonal Heads
- Reliable and disciplined field reporting
IV. Channel Development (National B2B Expansion)
- Lead nationalB2B expansion strategy, including:
- Industrial clusters
- Project corridors
- EPC / OEM hubs
- Improve channel productivity through:
- Distributor performance reviews
- System-led fixes (stock, service coverage)
- Drive weak-market turnaround using:
- Performance diagnostics
- Competitor intelligence
- Policy or product interventions
- Standardize:
- B2B channel-development processes
- Governance models across regions
- Align distributor policies with:
- Sales
- SCM
- Finance
- Commercial teams
The Successful Applicant
Experience - 10-15 years in B2B Sales / Sales Excellence / Business Transformation
- Industry background preferred:
- Manufacturing
- Building materials
- Cables / electricals / industrial products
Prior Role Exposure
- Experience in multi-zone sales operations
- Ownership of performance governance at a national or multi-region level
Core Skill Sets
- Deep expertise in:
- B2B project & industrial sales
- CRM-led funnel governance
- Multi-zone performance management
- Ability to:
- Design and institutionalize KPI frameworks
- Drive sales capability programs
- Align Sales, BD, SCM, Finance, and Commercial teams under a single governance model
- Strong execution orientation:
- Translating strategy into disciplined, outcome-driven execution
