Role Description
The National Head - Employee Transportation is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The responsibilities include leading and managing large-scale employee transportation operations, coordinating with fleet partners and internal stakeholders, and ensuring efficient service delivery. The role also involves driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operational processes, and fostering relationships with clients to deliver customized solutions. Additionally, the role requires providing leadership to regional teams, analyzing transportation data to drive cost optimization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Expertise in fleet management, operational coordination, and logistics management
- Leadership skills, including team management and stakeholder engagement
- Experience in analyzing data, reporting, and implementing cost-effective strategies
- Strong knowledge of employee transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
- Proven experience in client relationship management and strategic planning
- Understanding of technology solutions in transportation management, including SaaS platforms, is an advantage
- Prior experience in the IT, BPO, banking, or related sectors is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or a relevant field; Master's degree preferred
