Role Description The National Head, Center of Excellence_Electrical will lead JLL India’s electrical engineering Center of Excellence, ensuring best-in-class electrical design, operations, and risk management across projects and facilities. This full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru involves developing technical standards, guidelines, and processes for electrical systems, including power distribution, safety, and reliability. The position oversees technical audits, system performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives, while collaborating with project teams, facility managers, and clients to resolve complex electrical issues and optimize energy usage. The role includes mentoring and managing a multidisciplinary team, coordinating training on electrical safety and emerging technologies, and providing expert input on major capital projects and robotics or automation-related solutions. The National Head will also contribute to strategic planning, budgeting for electrical initiatives, and alignment with regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering and Electricity, with practical experience in design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.
- Expertise in Power Systems, including load analysis, power quality, distribution networks, and reliability planning.
- Experience with Robotics or automation technologies related to building systems, facilities, or industrial environments.
- Proven Team Management skills, including leading technical teams, mentoring talent, and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Extensive experience in facilities, real estate, infrastructure, or industrial projects, preferably in large, complex portfolios.
- Deep knowledge of electrical safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements in India, and familiarity with international best practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with energy management, sustainability initiatives, and technology-driven solutions is highly beneficial.
