Details about the position, pay, academic qualifications, responsibilities, format of application and other general conditions are given below: Post Code Vacancy Qualifications 01-Scientist B (Group A) Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 1 Essential: Master's Degree in Earth Science/ Geology or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level from a recognized University. Desirable: PhD with research experience in the field of stable isotope geochemistry/ electron microprobe analysis as evidenced through publications in peer reviewed journals and hands-on- analytical experience in Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer/ electron micro probe analyzer. 02-Scientist B (Group A) Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 1 Essential: Master's degree in Geology/Earth Science or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level from a recognized University. Desirable: PhD with research experience in the field of in-situ U-Pb geochronology as evidenced through publications in peer reviewed journals and hands-on-analytical experience in LA- ICPMS/MC-ICPMS. 03-Scientist B (Group A) Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 1 Essential: Master's Degree in Earth Science/ Geology or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level from a recognized University. Desirable: PhD with research experience in the field of hydrogeology as evidenced through publications in peer reviewed journals. 04-Scientist B (Group A) Level 10 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 1 Essential: Master's Degree in Earth Science / Geology or equivalent from a recognised University/Institute with minimum 60% marks. Desirable: PhD/research experience in sedimentology/palaeoclimate studies as evidenced through publications in peer reviewed journals.
