Job Summary
The Corporate Development team partners with Nassau’s business units to lead key strategic initiatives and execute on M&A transactions. Nassau is seeking an Analyst to support the Corporate Development team with identifying and executing on opportunities to meet the firm’s strategic growth objectives.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence on potential transactions
- Conduct industry research, reporting and analysis on M&A activity and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with functional due diligence teams, including Finance, Legal, Tax, Human Resources, and IT
- Prepare presentations and reporting for senior management on potential M&A transactions and other strategic growth initiatives
- Ad hoc analysis, research, financial modeling, and additional responsibilities as required
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Undergraduate degree in finance, economics, or equivalent
- 1-3 years of investment banking, private equity, or equivalent corporate development experience with exposure to insurance and asset management preferred; M&A transaction experience required
- Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly motivated and demonstrated experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment
- Judgement, maturity, and the ability to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)

The base salary for this position falls within Nassau’s salary band E: $100,000-$130,000 depending upon experience.
