Nasiko Labs:
Visual Designer (Craft-Led, Product-Aware)
Experience: 2 to 4+ Years
We’re looking for a visual designer who cares deeply about craft. Someone who notices the 1px misalignment, awkward kerning, inconsistent icon weights and fixes them without being asked.
This is a visual-first role, but not visual-only. You should have some exposure to product design, understand user journeys, and design with clarity and conversion in mind. Experience in catalog or e-commerce environments is strongly preferred.
You’ll use generative AI tools to move faster, while ensuring quality and brand integrity remain uncompromised.
What You’ll Do
- Conceptualise and execute brand-aligned creatives across campaigns, catalog, and product surfaces
- Fluent in motion design in tools like Adobe After Effects, Rive, etc.
- Design consumer-facing assets that clearly communicate product features and benefits
- Own projects from brief to final delivery
- Use generative AI tools to speed up ideation, create variations, and optimise workflows
- Apply product thinking to visual decisions including hierarchy, clarity, and usability
- Maintain a consistently high quality bar across outputs
- Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and growth teams
- Mentor junior designers and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Coordinate with external agencies to ensure quality and timelines are met
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising craft
- Strong in editing and design using Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, with camera effects, lighting, and filters knowledge.
- Experienced in animation skills using Adobe After Effects and AI tools like Runway and Midjourney.
What You Bring
- 2 to 4+ years of experience in visual or graphic design
- A strong portfolio that reflects attention to detail and solid design fundamentals
- Experience in ai & tech product related organizations, merchandising, or catalog-heavy creative generation
- Working exposure to digital product design
- Strong understanding of typography, colour, layout systems, and composition
- Ability to balance speed with precision
- Clear communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
Tools & Qualifications
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects, along with Figma
- Hands-on experience using generative AI tools within the design workflow
- Familiarity with motion, video, or 3D tools is a plus
- A formal degree in Design such as Communication, Visual, Graphic, or Interaction Design is appreciated but not mandatory
Who You Are
- Detail-obsessed and quality-driven
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Thoughtful about how design decisions impact user behaviour
- Curious, collaborative, and open to feedback
