ABOUT THE ROLE
F5 Global Talent is hiring an experienced Narrative Video Editor with strong storytelling instincts and hands-on Final Cut Pro experience.
You’ll turn raw interviews, documentary footage, and supporting visuals into polished, story-driven videos. This is narrative editing — not template-based social media editing.
The work includes documentaries, fundraising campaigns, nonprofit content, and other long-form and short-form storytelling projects.
This is a full-time, remote role working primarily with a U.S.-based production team during U.S. business hours.
IMPORTANT: Hands-on Final Cut Pro experience and real narrative editing experience are required. If your experience is primarily Premiere Pro, short social clips, or template-based editing, this role is not the right fit.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Edit long-form and short-form story-driven video content
• Turn raw interviews and documentary footage into compelling narratives
• Synchronize interviews and organize raw footage
• Select and integrate supporting footage and visual elements
• Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, speaker names, and music
• Select and integrate music that supports the story and emotional tone
• Maintain a consistent editing style across projects
• Deliver polished work while meeting production deadlines
• Collaborate remotely with the U.S.-based production team
• Implement revisions and feedback throughout the editing process
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• Strong professional video editing experience
• Hands-on proficiency in Final Cut Pro
• Excellent storytelling and narrative editing skills
• Experience shaping raw interviews and footage into a cohesive story
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
• Ability to learn and adapt to different storytelling styles
• Experience with Adobe After Effects or similar motion-graphics tools
• Strong written and verbal English communication
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience editing documentaries
• Experience with nonprofit or fundraising campaign videos
• Experience working with interview-driven content
• Experience working with multilingual content
• Hebrew or Yiddish familiarity
• Experience collaborating with remote production teams
