Position Title: NABL Calibration Lab Software Support Engineer / Independent State Partner
Location: PAN India (Candidates can operate from their respective state)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years and Maximum 10 years
Industry: NABL Accredited Calibration Laboratory / Calibration Software / Metrology / Quality Systems
About the Role
We are looking for experienced professionals from NABL accredited calibration laboratories in India who understand lab operations, calibration workflows, documentation, and accreditation requirements.
The selected candidate will work on Calibration Lab Management Software configuration, implementation, training, and technical support for calibration laboratories using the software.
This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who wish to work as an independent software configuration support engineer and also act as an authorized reseller / business partner in their respective state.
Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Configuration & Implementation
- Configure calibration lab management software based on customer lab scope and workflow.
- Create masters for instruments, customers, standards, departments, users, and templates.
- Configure calibration certificates, workflows, approval levels, reports, and reminders.
- Support migration from Excel/manual systems to software platform.
- Conduct software installation, onboarding, and go-live support.
Technical Support
- Provide day-to-day support to calibration labs using the software.
- Resolve user issues related to certificate generation, due-date alerts, traceability records, reports, and workflow usage.
- Coordinate with development team for enhancements and bug fixes.
- Train customers through online / onsite sessions.
- Maintain customer satisfaction and ensure smooth adoption.
NABL / Technical Knowledge Support
- Guide customers on aligning software usage with ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL documentation practices.
- Help structure calibration records, traceability data, uncertainty formats, and audit-ready documentation.
Business Development / State Partner Role
- Promote and resell the software in assigned state / region.
- Generate leads from calibration labs, industries, quality departments, and service providers.
- Build local relationships and support demos.
- Earn incentives / commissions on successful business closures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 to 10 years experience in an NABL accredited calibration laboratory in India.
- Strong understanding of calibration processes and lab documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and NABL systems.
- Basic computer/software skills with ability to learn configuration quickly.
- Good communication in English + local language.
- Ability to work independently and manage customers.
- Entrepreneurial mindset preferred.
Preferred Background
- Worked as Lab Engineer, Quality Engineer, Technical Manager, Calibration Engineer, or NABL Coordinator.
- Experience in calibration software / ERP / documentation systems preferred.
Engagement Model
- Independent / Freelance / Contract / State Channel Partner basis.
