Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Middle Years Programme (MYP) Geography Teacher at Oakridge International School, located in Hyderabad. The MYP Geography Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging geography lessons, creating an interactive and inquiry-based classroom environment, and fostering critical thinking among students. The teacher will also evaluate student performance, support their academic and personal growth, and collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure positive learning outcomes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher certification and expertise in the field of Education
• Strong skills in Lesson Planning and effective classroom management
• Comprehensive knowledge of Geography and proven abilities in Teaching the subject
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) framework is highly desirable
• Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning experiences
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and supportive learning environment
• Master’s degree in Geography or related field, or in Education with a specialization in Geography
