Role Description The MYP Design Facilitator is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for planning, delivering, and reflecting on engaging MYP Design units aligned with IB standards. The facilitator designs and implements project-based learning experiences that develop students’ design thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, guiding students through the design cycle, assessing learning using varied formative and summative strategies, and providing timely, constructive feedback. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to integrate design with other subject areas, contributing to curriculum development, and participating in professional learning initiatives. The facilitator also supports a safe, inclusive, and creative classroom environment that encourages inquiry, risk-taking, and ethical use of technology and resources.
Qualifications
- Strong instructional skills in MYP Design, including planning, delivery, and assessment aligned with IB philosophy.
- Experience facilitating project-based learning, design thinking processes, and hands-on inquiry for middle years learners.
- Proficiency with educational technology, digital tools, and platforms relevant to design, media, and innovation.
- Ability to create safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive learning environments that support diverse learners.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills for working with students, colleagues, and families.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Design, Technology, or a related field; IB MYP training or experience is highly preferred.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, reflective practice, and alignment with TSRA’s values of curiosity, compassion, and courage.
