Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Middle Years Programme (MYP) Chemistry Teacher at Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, located in Hyderabad. The MYP Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging chemistry lessons, fostering curiosity, and effectively teaching MYP Chemistry concepts. Additional responsibilities include creating lesson plans, evaluating student progress, maintaining classroom management, and promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Chemistry Education
• Proven skills in Lesson Planning and curriculum development
• Experience and proficiency in teaching and classroom management
• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively
• Relevant teaching certification and a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Science, Education, or a related field
• Prior experience in teaching within the MYP framework is an advantage
• A passion for fostering student curiosity and creating an inclusive, supportive learning environment
