Oracle Applications Lab (OAL) is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for translating high-level design specifications into detailed designs, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including system planning, scheduling, and implementation.

You will play a key role in developing and enhancing custom product features, resolving software defects, and ensuring code quality through the creation and execution of comprehensive unit tests and test plans. This position requires an ability to solve moderately complex technical challenges, with support and guidance provided to ensure adherence to company policies and processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience: 4 years of experience in building and delivering analytical applications.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, Python, Oracle PL/SQL, and OBIEE/OAC RPD development is essential.

Desired Experience: Experience with OBIEE/OAC Reports & Dashboard and/or Data Visualization Projects development is highly preferred.

Exposure to: Familiarity with Data Warehouse design, Star Schema modeling, and Artificial Intelligence concepts will be beneficial.

Career Level - IC3

Design, develop, and implement analytical applications utilizing technologies such as Java, Oracle JET (OJET), and Oracle APEX.

Construct and maintain Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) Repository (RPD) models to ensure optimal data accessibility, performance, and integrity.

Develop compelling, dynamic, and user-centric OAC dashboards and data visualizations that translate complex data into actionable business insights.

Configure and automate real-time data alerts and data flows to ensure timely dissemination of critical information to business stakeholders.

Actively collaborate on data warehouse design and the development of robust data pipelines, contributing to the strategic architecture and management of data assets.

Utilize ETL tools, including Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or equivalent, to facilitate efficient data movement, transformation, and preparation for analytical consumption.

Demonstrate a strong business acumen and apply a broad understanding of organizational objectives while providing technical leadership in designated areas.

Exercise sound judgment in making critical design and roadmap decisions, considering various technical, business, and strategic factors.

Engage effectively with both business and technical teams to gather requirements, understand needs, and deliver high-quality OAC solutions.

Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for issues related to data flows, dashboards, and OAC configurations.
