About the role

We're Hiring: PROJECT ARCHITECT

Lead With Precision. Deliver With Confidence. Design With Purpose.

At MW Studios, we design spaces that support communities—fire stations, police headquarters, training centers, civic facilities, and more. As a Project Architect, you won’t just document buildings—you’ll lead teams, resolve complex technical challenges, and shape public infrastructure that matters.

We’re seeking a seasoned Project Architect with strong detailing skills, deep technical knowledge, and the ability to guide a team of architects through the design and documentation process. You’ll work alongside Project Managers to ensure design intent is maintained, deliverables meet quality standards, and projects stay on track from design development through construction.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Project Architect at MW Studios, you will:

  • Lead the technical development of projects from schematic design through construction documents.
  • Oversee and mentor internal architecture teams, coordinating workflows and maintaining quality across all project phases.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers to align architectural decisions with client goals, schedules, and budgets.
  • Develop and review detailed technical drawings, specifications, and building system integration using Revit.
  • Coordinate with consulting engineers and specialty subconsultants to ensure complete, coordinated construction documents.
  • Research and apply applicable codes, standards, and building technologies.
  • Support construction administration with responses to RFIs, submittals, and field observations.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 10+ years of architectural experience, including substantial experience in public, civic, or institutional projects.
  • Licensed architect with advanced proficiency in Revit and a deep understanding of building systems and detailing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead internal project teams and mentor junior staff through full project delivery.
  • Excellent coordination skills with consultants and familiarity with QA/QC processes.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-driven mindset.
  • Public safety facility design experience is a plus.
