Role Description
The Mutual Fund Executive will work full time on-site at the Thane office, supporting clients with mutual fund investments and related financial products. Daily responsibilities include meeting and communicating with clients, understanding their financial objectives, and recommending suitable mutual fund schemes. The role involves processing applications, maintaining accurate records, tracking portfolio performance, and ensuring timely follow-ups and service resolutions. The Mutual Fund Executive will coordinate with fund houses and internal teams, stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes, and prepare basic reports and presentations. The role also includes assisting in client acquisition activities, such as calling prospects, scheduling meetings, and participating in investor awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mutual funds, basic investment concepts, and financial products.
- Ability to communicate clearly with clients, explain products in simple terms, and build long-term relationships.
- Comfort with numbers, attention to detail, and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic use of CRM or similar software.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client accounts and tasks.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, regulatory compliance, and confidentiality of client information.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, business, or a related field.
- Preferred: Relevant certifications (e.g., NISM Mutual Fund Distributor or equivalent) or willingness to obtain them.
- Preferred: Prior experience in mutual funds, banking, or financial advisory roles.
