Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Senior/Lead Sales Development Representative with a strong background in event management. The role involves generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with potential clients, and identifying new sales opportunities. The position requires collaboration with sales and marketing teams to strategize outreach efforts, manage the sales pipeline, and achieve revenue targets. Success in this role demands proactive communication, customer engagement, and a deep understanding of the event management industry.
Qualifications
- Proven background in event management or event sales, including familiarity with online, hybrid, or in-person events.
- Excellent skills in lead generation, outbound prospecting, and customer relationship management (CRM software proficiency is a plus).
- Strong communication, pitching, and negotiation skills, with the ability to foster long-term client relationships.
- Experience with sales planning, forecasting, and achieving targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive mindset, a goal-oriented approach, and the ability to work independently in a remote setup.
- Experience working in sales within the event tech industry is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
