Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Music Teacher role based in Bengaluru at Circle of Fifths Music Academy. The teacher will conduct individual and group lessons in Piano, Western Vocal, Drums, and Violin, with proficiency in at least two of these instruments preferred. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering engaging classes, assessing student progress, and adapting teaching methods for different age groups and skill levels. The role involves organizing rehearsals, guiding students for live performances, and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment. The teacher will collaborate with other faculty to refine curriculum, contribute to student events, and support administrative tasks related to scheduling, evaluations, and parent/guardian communication.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners.
- Demonstrated Music Performance skills on at least two of the following: Piano, Western Vocal, Drums, Violin.
- Experience in Music Education, including planning lessons, assessing progress, and using varied teaching methodologies.
- Proficiency in Piano and at least one additional instrument (Western Vocal, Drums, or Violin) is preferred.
- Relevant formal training or certification in music (e.g., music degree, graded exams, diplomas) is advantageous.
- Ability to work with diverse age groups, encourage creativity, and foster a respectful, inclusive classroom environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including comfort with providing feedback to learners and families.
- Experience organizing or participating in recitals, concerts, or ensemble performances is a plus.
