Role Description
This is a part-time Music Teacher role based in Mumbai with remote teaching responsibilities. The Music Teacher will conduct online and offline music lessons tailored to individual and group needs. Responsibilities include teaching music theory, providing guidance in musical performance, designing engaging lesson plans, and fostering a love for music among students. The teacher will also offer constructive feedback to help students achieve their musical goals.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Music Theory and ability to teach it effectively
- Experience in Music Performance, including live or recorded formats
- Familiarity with Music Education principles and methods
- Proficiency in playing and teaching a specific instrument, such as piano
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques for online and offline formats
- Prior teaching experience is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field preferred
