Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for a Music Teacher. The Music Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging music lessons across different age groups, fostering students' love for music, and identifying and nurturing musical talents. Additional responsibilities include organizing performances, preparing students for competitions, collaborating with faculty, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in musical instruments and vocal techniques, with the ability to read and teach music notation
- Skills in lesson planning, classroom management, and adapting teaching methods to diverse student needs
- Creative and innovative approach to teaching, aligning music education with modern pedagogy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, parents, and staff
- Passion for music and enthusiasm for fostering artistic growth in students
- Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related discipline is required; teaching certification is an advantage
- Previous experience teaching music in a school environment is preferred
- Commitment to advancing students' understanding and appreciation of music
