Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Music Teacher based in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi. The Music Teacher will be responsible for planning and conducting engaging music lessons, teaching music theory and performance, and developing students' skills in various instruments, including the piano. They will create lesson plans tailored to individual or group needs, assess progress, and inspire students through innovative teaching methodologies. Additional responsibilities may include organizing performances and collaborating with colleagues to implement music-related projects.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Music Theory and Music Education practices
• Experience in Music Performance and general musical instruction
• Expertise in teaching Piano and other related instruments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students
• Ability to plan and execute dynamic and interactive lesson plans tailored to various skill levels
• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proficiency in tools and techniques for music composition, performance, and teaching
• Prior experience in a teaching or education-focused role is a strong asset
