Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a Music Director and Composer – AI Trainer, using your expertise in music theory, orchestration, and composition to train and refine AI models. This role allows you to combine creative artistry with technology, helping AI systems understand musical nuance, style, and performance across genres.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, curate, and annotate high-quality music datasets to train AI systems in composition, arrangement, and musical direction.
• Review AI-generated music outputs, providing actionable feedback to ensure accuracy, emotional expression, and genre fidelity.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to analyze model performance and suggest creative improvements.
• Develop guidelines and standards for dataset curation, focusing on musicality, structure, and style.
• Lead workshops or knowledge-sharing sessions to support team skill development in music theory, orchestration, and emerging trends.
• Communicate complex musical concepts clearly in written and verbal forms for cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a music director, composer, or arranger in professional settings across diverse genres.
• Advanced knowledge of music theory, orchestration, composition, and digital music production (DAWs).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to curate, annotate, and critique music for professional or educational purposes.
• Comfort with remote collaboration tools and digital audio workstations.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Passion for innovation at the intersection of music and AI technology.

Preferred Qualifications
