Job Overview:
Deliver engaging visitor experiences by explaining exhibits related to history, culture, and technology. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to simplify concepts for diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct guided tours for school children groups and assist other visitors.
- Explain exhibit context, significance, and working principles
- Encourage interaction through discussions and Q&A
- Report exhibit faults, safety issues, or facility concerns.
- Support exhibition setup, documentation, and programs
- Collect visitor feedback
Requirements:
- Qualification: Any undergraduate degree (B.A., B.Sc., B.E./B.Tech or equivalent). Candidates will be considered only from the following specializations, in order of preference:
a) Primary: History, Museology, Heritage Management, Tourism Studies or related fields b) Secondary:
i) B.Sc.: Physics, Electronics, or Mathematics (with Physics/Electronics focus)
ii) B.E./B.Tech (only): Mechanical, Electronics (ECE/E&I), or Mechatronics
- Excellent spoken English (additional languages preferred)
- Interest in history, technology, and museums.
