MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience - Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or related field and licensed or license eligible as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC-MH or LBP.
Licenses & Certifications- LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC, or LBP licensure valid in the state of Oklahoma is required.

Proven skill and ability in the areas of treatment, prevention, assessment, diagnostics and consultation.

Ability to follow BHS guidelines and established Muscogee (Creek) Nation Health System policies and procedures.

Ability to courteously and effectively communicate with patients and their families, MNHS staff, outside agencies and the general public both orally and in writing.

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to perform the duties of a therapist working within the Pediatric Clinic to provide assessment, education, brief and long-term therapeutic service to patients and their families. Incumbent provides services within the designated service are of the Muscogee Nation Health System.
Physical Demands
Position requires the demands of normal office work and possibly driving a GSA vehicle to arranged job sites as required. Fifty-pound requirement?
Work Environment
Work is performed within the specified Health Care Clinic. Incumbent could be subjected to the risk of exposure to hostile and emotionally disturbed patients, families and visitors. There is moderate risk of exposure to contagious disease.
Essential Functions
Satisfactory job performance will be determined by successful execution of the following:

Conducts individual, family and/or group treatment, assessment, intakes, and referral when indicated. Also, selects, administers and interprets psychological and substance abuse tests/assessments to diagnose disorders and formulate treatment plans.

Monitors case records to ensure quality and professionalism in concert with the BHS Director. Maintains case records that are legible and completed in a timely manner (includes treatment plans and related signatures). This also includes peer reviews and audits of client records.
- Participates on the treatment review team and staffs all new and problematic cases as well as documents recommendations from weekly staffing meetings.
- Completes all trainings required for licensure, state certification, accreditation and the Muscogee Creek Nation Department of Health. Incumbent is responsible for ensuring al requirement met to maintain licensure in good standing.
- Provides education or feedback to clinical and non-clinical employees with the goal to better serve our patient population.
- Follows Rehab, IHS, and MCNDH Policy and Procedures and guidelines.
- Conducts self in a professional manner and maintains strict client confidentiality
- when applicable complies with all grant goals, objectives, procedures, assessment, screenings and/or timely reporting.
- Regular and timely attendance is required.
