Overview: The Digital Growth Manager leads MCU’s digital growth strategy, driving member adoption, engagement, and retention across all digital channels, including online and mobile banking, digital account opening, and digital lending. This role bridges marketing, analytics, and operations to ensure measurable growth outcomes across digital platforms. The Manager partners with internal teams and external vendors to recommend experiences that increase utilization, improve funnel conversion, and strengthen member relationships through data-driven initiatives to meet organizational and channel goals.
Responsibilities:
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead the creating of the MCU’s Digital Growth Roadmap, ensuring alignment with enterprise new member, deposit, lending, and engagement goals.
- Develop and implement adoption and engagement campaigns to drive utilization of digital features such as card controls, P2P payments, mobile deposit, and direct deposit setup.
- Define, monitor, and report on digital channel KPIs (member adoption, activation, conversion, and retention).
- Collaborate with Marketing, Digital Operations, and IT to deliver optimized onboarding flows, cross-sell journeys, and member lifecycle campaigns.
- Analyze funnel performance including OAO completion rates, abandoned applications, and conversion by member segment.
- Partner with the Digital Growth Analyst to interpret data, identify performance trends, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Develop annual growth plans, forecasts, and campaign calendars aligned with MCU’s strategic goals.
- Present channel performance and ROI updates to senior leadership.
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, measurement, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in management, technology, marketing or related field required.
- 6+ years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or financial services, with at least 4 years in a management or supervisory role.
- Experience with Digital Banking Platform required.
- Experience with digital account opening software and third-party integrations (WithClutch, Plaid, Alloy)
- Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance practices.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, develop insights, and propose solutions.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a high-volume environment.
- Member-focused, self-motivated, and collaborative.
Leadership Competencies:
- Demonstrated experience managing digital adoption or lifecycle marketing programs.
- Knowledge of digital banking ecosystems (Alkami, Clutch, Visa DPS, Plaid, Alloy).
- Strong analytical, project-management, and communication skills.
- Experience leveraging campaign data to drive optimization and measurable outcomes.
- Member-centric mindset with demonstrated collaboration across cross-functional teams.
- Data-driven decision-maker with a focus on results and continuous improvement.

The pay range for this position is between $93,200-155,790 annually. Actual base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. Employees in this position may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, 401(k) with an 6% employer match per pay period. Benefits for this position include Medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, flexible paid time off and 11 paid holidays annually.
